Episode 336 – Nicole Smith
[00:00:08] Welcome to Screw the Commute. The entrepreneurial podcast dedicated to getting you out of the car and into the money, with your host, lifelong entrepreneur and multimillionaire, Tom Antion.

[00:00:24] Hey, everybody it's Tom here with episode three hundred and thirty six of Screw the Commute podcast.

[00:00:29] I'm here with Nicole Smith as part of Vetrepreneur's Month. Here at screw the Commute podcast. We love our veterans. They keep us safe. They are just the one of the best parts of our entire society and they dedicate a whole month to them every September. This is no exception here. And the call was in the Coast Guard for a long time and we'll hear her story later. But when you hear her story and then just prior we had Annette Whittenberger, when you hear the kinds of sacrifices these folks make for us, you should be ashamed of yourself if you're not, like, totally in gratitude that they exist in the world, because without them, we would be in a in a pickle, I'll tell you that. So we'll bring her on in a minute. So how would you like to hear your own voice here on screen, the commute? Well, if anything you've heard here has given you good ideas for your business or helped you start a business, we want to hear about it.

[00:01:28] So visit, screwthecommute.com on the sidebar. There's a little blue bar that says send the voicemail. You can leave a message in your own voice. Tell us how the shows helped you and also put your website in there so we can give you a big shout out in your own voice in front of thousands of people on a future episode. So do that. Also grab a copy of our Automation eBook. This book, just one of the tips in this book has saved me seven and a half million keystrokes. You are crazy. If you haven't downloaded this book and implemented many of the things in there, it just saves you tons of work and it runs kind of runs my whole business while you're over there. Well, let me tell you where to get that. Screwthecommute.com/automatefree. While you're over there, pick up a copy of our podcast app at screwthecommute.com/app. You can put it on your cell phone and tablet and take us with you on the road. Now, I know people are still freaking out with this pandemic. Well, I'm not and my students aren't because we know how to sell from home.

[00:02:39] That's what's this whole pandemic. Not my whole business hasn't changed. I've been able to email people, do webinars, do teleclasses, do Zooms and Facebook Lives and money keeps coming in. This is what I want for you. So I formalized this about twelve years ago in the form of a school. It's the only licensed, dedicated Internet marketing school in the country. It's located in Virginia Beach, but it's distance learning. So you can be anywhere. And in fact, since this is veteran first month, I always mention we are allowed by the Department of Defense to put in a military spouse scholarship in the MyCAA program. A lot of military spouses never even heard of this program, but it will contribute a whole bunch of money towards your education. And this is perfect for military spouses. In fact, a military spouse got me invited to the White House to speak to the second lady's office about military spouse employment, which that's one of her platforms. So our school is perfect for that, because not only can you learn while the kids are running around and and, you know, you're taking them to soccer, doing all the stuff you do, but you can also be hired by companies that don't want you there in person.

[00:04:02] And when you move to a different station, hey, guess what? You didn't lose anything. I know I live in Norfolk, Virginia, and military spouses have to take crappy jobs because everybody knows they're going to move and then they take another crappy job somewhere else. Well, we wipe that off the table for you and you can really build something great for yourself. So check it out at Imtech vague. And a little later, I'll tell you how being in my mentor program can get you a full scholarship to the school.

[00:04:31] All right. Let's bring on the main event. Nicole Smith is a retired military veteran, turned life coach and mental wellness advocate. She's also the mom to three young boys and a proud military wife. After burning out from trying to balance military and home life, she connected to a new purpose and created Navigate Your Freedom. She now serves the military community by helping women who are burnt out from the military lifestyle to become just as committed to themselves as they are to their family and country.

[00:05:08] Nicole, are you ready to screw? The commute?

[00:05:12] Heck, yeah, let's do it.

[00:05:14] All right. So again, from the bottom of my heart and all the listeners of screw the commute, we want to thank you for your service and what you've done for us so that we can do what we do in safety. So thank you very much.

[00:05:27] Well, thank you for having me. I'm so happy to be here with you.

[00:05:30] So tell us what you're doing now and then we'll see how you got to this place. And then I have some interesting stuff off your blog that I want everybody to hear about. So tell us how you're helping folks now.

[00:05:41] Absolutely. Yes. So is actually while I was still on active duty, I became a certified life and health coach.

[00:05:49] And, you know, just because of my I guess, my own story and what I have gone through, I just saw and really felt the need to help other military women because we wear a lot of hats and we juggle a lot of things. And I didn't want other military women to kind of go through what I had gone through in my time of military service. So I work with women, as you mentioned, that may kind of feel overwhelmed or that they're becoming a little bit too burdened by both what's going on at home and also juggling their military lifestyle, because all too often we begin to kind of question, you know, whether we should stay in the military or should we sacrifice a really good career to be at home. And we kind of go through this, you know, tug of war feeling. And so I help women work their way through that and make a powerful choice because sometimes they can work it out and they can powerfully choose to be able to do both, or they can powerfully make the decision to separate and take care of families or maybe move on or pursue other things that they're wanting to do. But they can do that under their own conviction without guilt. So that's kind of what I'm doing. And I've got a lot of extra new stuff coming in the New Year and just a lot of fun directions. So really excited about where now navigate get your freedom is now what we're doing.

[00:07:16] Yeah. So that's your website is navigateyourfreedom.com. Right?

[00:07:20] Correct. Yes. Yep.

[00:07:22] You know, I just have to impress upon people out there, the most of us to listen to this are civilians and and the kind of things you go through with I mean, this what you just described was the nice version of it, I think, because the the mental health issues, the the guilt feelings, the PTSD and anxiety that's happening for a lot of the folks that help us in the military. right?

[00:07:51] Far too much. And we all would do it in secrecy. You know, we don't we don't necessarily like to talk about it.

[00:08:00] Well, that's what we're on here to do, though, because we want to shed light on this. And, you know, just they just announced that, I mean, 3000 people are coming home from overseas. A percentage of those are going to be women. What kind of things do you think they'll be having to address when they get back?

[00:08:21] Oh, goodness. You know, and it's no segregation between the male or the women there. I mean, it's just when you're coming home from being, you know, gone from your families for so long, there's such a huge factor when it comes to that integration. You almost just forget what it's like to be home. And, you know, it takes time. And I think that's the hardest part is that we try to rush back into things or, you know, we don't have that open line of communication with our loved ones because, you know, it's just this barrier we often forget. Life has gone on. And, you know, I've talked with soldiers and, you know, service members about this before, and it's almost just like that. Goodness, there's a comic book phrase, but like the what do they call it, the bizarro world, right. Where there's like that alternate world and you're in it, you're overseas and you're in this alternate thing. But you know that back home, life is going on without you. You know, holidays are being celebrated, birthdays are being celebrated, babies are being had, you know, family and friends, you know, maybe passing away and you're not there. But, you know, you still have this other alternate identity that's happening in person. And so sometimes it's just this just mass confusion. Sometimes when you're having to integrate and come back home and make amends with everything that has happened while you have been gone, but also to make amends with what you have personally dealt with, you know, and being able to communicate that and knowing that it's OK to communicate that finding really like those those balances and those boundaries for yourself and, you know, just being able to really look after yourself when you're coming home to make that integration smooth.

[00:10:17] Wow. Yeah. I can't imagine what that would be like.

[00:10:20] I'd like to read something from your blog here.

[00:10:25] Please do.

[00:10:25] You mentioned the word guilt earlier. This is a quote, folks, from her blog about five years ago in battling with my health and weight, I was also battling a war I didn't know I was fighting and dealing with weight, parenthood and sense of loss of lost identity. I started spiraling down into a deep depression. And we all have our good days and bad days. But for me, it created this guilt. I have this beautiful, wonderful life and I felt guilty for not being happy.

[00:11:02] Wow. Very powerful there, Nicole. What were you feeling like when you wrote that in in how have you dealt with that? I'm not ever going to say overcome things. You know, how have you dealt with those feelings and turned it into something where you can help others?

[00:11:21] Well, you know, you mentioned in an interview recently with a good friend of mine, Annette Whittenberger. And I think that she and I were soul sisters on a very similar path. And we also share a a common quote and something that just drives us and fuels us. And that's that are we've turned our messenger into our message. And for me, part of that was. When I found the strength to start talking about what I was dealing with internally, when I found the courage to actually acknowledge that things were not OK, you know, that I was having panic attacks and that I was breaking down and that I couldn't get out of bed. All of those things, when I put that into reality and really spoke about it, it was so overwhelming, the amount of relief that came over me.

[00:12:24] You know, it's just like even when you have a good secret and somebody is like, you got to keep this secret, don't tell. It's almost just like there's always this. It's like you're just wanting to tell somebody. And that's just how this was.

[00:12:34] It was like even though I there's a part of you that didn't want people to know. But once they finally did or once I finally opened up, I finally just felt better. And the irony to it is that when I finally did start opening up. All that while trying to keep quiet and feeling so alone and feeling so isolated, when I started talking about it, I found community, you know, I found others that were like, oh, my gosh. Like, I've gone through that, too.

[00:13:05] And now it's just it's so empowering and so just inspiring when I hear other people talk and share or come to me because I have shares know pieces, just like as you're reading from my blog. And just like now, you know, when you're reading this, that sound just like my story.

[00:13:23] And so it's just crazy how it has come full circle from, you know, being someone who felt alone and guilty and ashamed to now feeling more empowered and strengthened by those experiences.

[00:13:37] Yeah. And there's something else that addresses that in your blog here. It says, This became my biggest and ugliest truth.

[00:13:44] And I'm sharing it now because I know that I am not the only one.

[00:13:49] I'm not the only one that deals with these battles. And that's what you found out when you were able to open up. But, you know, some people don't have anybody to open up to. So you're helping to fill that void, right?

[00:14:01] Exactly. And, you know, it's because I kind of felt that way, too, in the beginning.

[00:14:06] You know, early on when I, I guess you could say, was in those early stages of depression. And, you know, I even remember state know sharing to someone is like, I think I'm depressed. And their response back to me was, well, aren't we all?

[00:14:23] And yeah, right.

[00:14:25] So, you know, it's also it's kind of like you said, it's hard to really find someone that will get you or that will allow you to open up.

[00:14:33] And, you know, I think in this day and age, it's actually kind of a blessing that we have this technology because people can turn to blogs. There's actually a organization called This is My Brave that I'm going to be speaking at. We were actually supposed to do a live event in April, but because of our lovely friend covid, we're now doing it all virtually.

[00:14:55] And the show's going to go for a live virtual launch back in October. But the organization itself was founded because of a woman who had bipolar disorder and started blogging about it and, you know, just started opening the dialogue by writing.

[00:15:11] And I've heard that in so many different places. You know, Annette is one of them. They just start blogging. We just start writing. It's just this way of release.

[00:15:20] And so sometimes it may not necessarily have to be a person, but it's just a matter of as I was saying earlier, we just have to acknowledge it for ourselves and get it out in some way, shape or form.

[00:15:30] Yeah. And like I said, I can't imagine all the ways you get hit with stuff because I know if I don't get enough sleep, you know, it's it's no good for me.

[00:15:38] I read also in your blog, I finally had a good night's sleep, the first in about two weeks. Oh my God. How could you be dealing with kids and everything?

[00:15:48] And this is I think during your transition out of the military where everything's structured and then everything isn't.

[00:15:55] I guess, you know, I don't I don't know. But I kind of assume that. So you weren't even able to sleep at night now.

[00:16:03] And, you know, and that's and that's funny because that part of my transition was an interesting dynamic, because our previous tour, I was actually attached to a command unit where I was put on night shifts and I worked night shifts for four years straight.

[00:16:22] So I worked from five p.m. to five a.m. Talk about having your world flipped upside down. Yeah, you mentioned in my bio that I'm also a proud military spouse. So we were a dual military family, which meant to make things work with having kids. We often had to work opposite schedules. So if I was home, my husband was on duty and vice versa and we would literally just be like ships passing in the early mornings as I was coming home and he was going off to work. And that's how we balanced our home to not have to have babysitters and such. But that usually meant that I only got maybe two or three hours of sleep while my youngest was in pre-K for half a day. Oh.

[00:17:02] So that blog was very interesting because. Here I was now at my new unit where I was working Monday through Friday, I probably had the best schedule and I started having panic attacks again. And I remember asking the doctor, I was like, I don't get it. My most severe panic attack was when I was working. Nights in my world was just in chaos. And here I feel like I have no stress and things are good. And he actually told me he's like, well, he's like, you got to look at it this way. Back then, you were firing on all pistons and now you're like firing on no pistons, like you've got to find balance and all of a sudden it just clicked.

[00:17:47] Like here I am thinking that things are good, but I still wasn't in balance. I hadn't found yet what worked for me. I had just gone from one extreme to the other. And yes, in that mess of like this transition, I was preparing to retire and everything was just, again, kind of up in the air. I had no idea what was going to happen. I have family coming to town. You know, there is just all this stuff to get ready and to prepare for. I didn't know what it was going to be like to be a veteran and have to file for benefits. So there's this all this stress. And yeah. So I was just up at night with my wheel spinning and it took a good two, maybe even a little bit longer for me to finally calm down and get a good night's sleep.

[00:18:31] So well, somehow in all of this chaos, you found the strength to have a sense of humor, because I've got another passage here.

[00:18:42] It starts out a little rough. But then I just laughed out loud. I was reading it. So. So here it is, folks. Yesterday, I got extremely irritated out of nowhere and started getting short with Ron. I guess that's your husband, right? My husband. Luckily, I recognized it quickly and was able to pull myself out of it. But afterwards I was so annoyed with myself that it had happened because I couldn't even explain why it did. Plus, I felt bad because he definitely did not deserve it. Is this what I have to look forward to? Days filled with unexplainable mood swings.

[00:19:21] This is why I love it.

[00:19:23] I didn't have my girly organs removed. This just to be thrown back into a whirlwind of emotional. Oh yeah, maybe I should get a disclaimer T-shirt made that says warning transition in Prague.

[00:19:42] Hey, man. Hey, man. Oh yeah. I know it's funny because they have classes.

[00:19:51] We go through classes to help with the transition process. And I have many, you know, friends that have already retired or that had separated. And I had talked with them. I had gone to the classes. I actually went to the class twice just to make sure that I had all the information that I needed. You know, I had already as I mentioned, I had already started building navigate your freedom.

[00:20:18] So I was like, I'm good there. You know, I've got what I'm transitioning into. I'm not going to be like everybody else that struggles or that they talk about.

[00:20:26] And how this last words, right?

[00:20:29] Yeah, I was wrong. I had no idea it was I say Hot Mess Express, but I mean, that that doesn't even I feel like really explains it because it really was it was I would have these moments where I was just super excited and grateful. But then the house would be so insanely quiet and I was just like, oh my gosh. Like I it was almost like this busy critter. Mine like would kick in and then everybody would start coming home from school. And it'd be like even if a pin dropped, it was like I would get agitated or and that's when I really started to recognize again is like, OK, hold on, you know, something's off and. So the blogs actually kind of took a break because in that there was, I think one or maybe two more after this blog that you were talking about, and that was the beginning of it. That was the beginning of when I started creeping back into those parts of the depression. The depression started to kick back in, even though I had already started to overcome it from before I started to get the anxiety and fear about what was to come. What what was I thinking? Did I make the right decisions? And. Those those triggers are those moments of like my. My feelings, my emotions just going off the rocker, like in split second, those were just those really early indicators that something was changing.

[00:21:59] And so, folks, as I said, people that are protecting us are going through this, many of them in silence. Many of them, unfortunately, take their own lives because of it. And it's, you know, like I said, we we definitely need to live in a state of gratitude that they even exist in the world. Now, you turn to your mess into a message, and this is an entrepreneurial podcast.

[00:22:24] So tell us about the book that you're coauthoring and then we've got to take a little break and then we'll talk about your your other book coming out. So tell us a little bit about the book and the and how that came about.

[00:22:37] Awesome. Yes, I'd be happy to. So I'm actually coauthoring a book. It's called The Decision to Heal Pathways from Suffering to Love. And it actually came from this. When I started sharing my story, I was actually at eight events from where I received my coaching certification. They have biannual events.

[00:22:58] This is this is not a military thing.

[00:23:00] Nope. This was not a military thing. This is where I received my coaching certifications from. And I was at an event and I was telling my story. And so many people just aren't coming up to me saying I dealt with this, too, and I've never talked about it.

[00:23:15] And all of a sudden it just came to me to write this book. And so the book is actually co-authored with five other of my friends that are coaches or that just have some lived experiences.

[00:23:29] And we've come together to really share our stories and that, you know, all of our stories are different. We've all walked different paths. Mine is the only military story in there.

[00:23:41] Yet if you read them, you're going to start to find and read all the connections throughout us, even though we were you know, we didn't know each other until a few years ago. So the book is really just about that, that we all inadvertently began to make the decision to heal ourselves and to overcome it and to really just provide hope for other people that are out there struggling. And I love that we're doing this now because September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month and Mental Health Awareness Month. You know, you alluded to all the service members that we lose to suicide. So I just think that this couldn't come at a better time to engage in this conversation. So I hope that you guys all will look out for this book because, again, it's just another way for us to keep that conversation going and really inspire and those that are struggling that there's hope out there.

[00:24:30] Yeah, and the title, again, is The Decision to Heal. What's the subtitle?

[00:24:36] Pathways from Suffering to Love.

[00:24:39] Beautiful. And it'll be available on Amazon and all major booksellers when it comes out in the show notes. We'll invite Nicole to come back and put it in the show, notes the live link to it when it's ready.

[00:24:52] And we happen to be recording folks on Patriot's Day. This is September eleventh. You're not going to hear this on September eleventh. But I can't think of a better patriot that's doing good things for other other folks than than the Cole.

[00:25:08] So thank you again. Thank you very much. So we to take a brief break and then we're going to come back and hear about Nicole's first e-book all on her own.

[00:25:20] So, folks, I turned the Internet marketing world on its head about twenty years ago when guys like me were charged in 50 or 100 thousand bucks up front to teach small business folks how to do all this stuff, how to sell online. So I thought, you know what, that's a lot of these people are rip offs and they won't give any value.

[00:25:39] So so I turned the guru world on its head and made them all mad by charging like ten percent of that as an entry fee to my program.

[00:25:49] And then for me to make my fifty thousand, you have to make two hundred thousand. So people just love this. I tied myself to your success and seventeen hundred students later is still going strong here. And it's the most unique, most successful Internet and digital marketing program of its kind ever and is unique in the fact. A couple of things. You have an immersion weekend that the great Internet marketing retreat center, of course, after the pandemic, it's also unique. And the guys like me won't even talk to you, let alone teach anything. Our program is all one on one personal. So my whole staff who I have trained and myself trained you to do this stuff.

[00:26:34] So it's very, very unique. You also have time in our next door to my state is my TV studio, so you have time in there.

[00:26:44] So very, very powerful program and you get a scholarship. To my school, when you're in the mentor program, so we had one guy gifted to his daughter who he had spent eighty thousand dollars on a crappy education for her and a regular four year school.

[00:27:04] She's taking a crappy job. And then she's she comes out and takes this scholarship to my school. After four months, she's making six thousand dollars a month on the side. So this is hard core skills that are in high demand. Every company on Earth needs email marketing and blogging and text marketing and websites and all the stuff, chat boards, everything that you can imagine. We teach it in our schools so that you have an actual skill set instead of an ability to learn how to protest, which is what you get for here colleges.

[00:27:39] And then you're competing for jobs at Starbucks. So so check it out at greatInternetmarketingtraining.com and then give me a call and I'll discuss it with you. It's a great like I said, it's a great gift for legacy, gift for your nephews, nieces, grandchildren to give them an actual skill set and then they won't be moving back in and living with you because of their money.

[00:28:05] All right. Let's get back to the main event. Nicole Smith is here. She is both a veteran and a military spouse, and she has had her ups and downs, but she's taken them and turned them into something good to help other people and turned it into a business. So, Nicole, tell us about you got your first E book coming out, right?

[00:28:28] I love that. I think that that was a perfect segue talking about your school and then now jumping into this because it's so important, especially for, you know, what I was experiencing with this transition. You know, being an entrepreneur and a CEO and owner of my own business, nothing prepared me for that. I had no idea. I was like, you know, deer in the headlights. And, you know, this this talk of creating my first e-book, it was something that I knew I wanted to do, but it wasn't something I had been trained to do in the military. So it's a little bit a long time coming, but I'm super excited about it. And, you know, you'll be able to find it very soon on my website. But it's going to be called burnout boot camp. And I'm providing you with ten tips for avoiding burnout from the military lifestyle.

[00:29:13] So this is geared definitely towards military people, right?

[00:29:17] Oh, absolutely. And I mean, however, if you're not military, please still go check it out, because it's still going to be very relevant. There might just be some military jargon in there, but it's still very relevant tips for anybody that is in a profession where maybe they're just getting overwhelmed. You know, our first responders right now are hospital professionals. All of those that are essential personnel right now could absolutely still benefit from this.

[00:29:46] That's beautiful. And folks, any jargon you run into, just Google it. I'm telling you, because I was I was doing something for Nicole. I don't think you know this story. I was doing something for military spouses up in Washington, D.C. And they kept saying something about a I'm pretty sure it was picks that ring a bell.

[00:30:07] Yes. But, you know, it was very loud.

[00:30:10] We were in like a bar. It was a big military conference and has a lot of noise. And I'm doing this side thing for military spouses. And I'm set and I'm sitting there thinking to myself, why are they they keep mentioning PMS to me.

[00:30:27] Yeah, I'm totally like, I don't want to say anything to help these people. They keep talking about their PMS. Oh, no. Good. All permanent change of station.

[00:30:42] Ok, I know that now, but at the time I didn't know.

[00:30:47] That's so funny. Yeah, I love it.

[00:30:50] So how do, how do people work with you?

[00:30:53] So they can do it in a couple of ways but definitely through the website you can click on there to to sign up for an introductory call. I always do a complimentary discovery call in the calls last between about thirty minutes to an hour, just depending on, you know, what we kind of need to talk about. And through that we just we decide whether I'm a good fit for you and you're a good fit for me because quite frankly, not everybody is meant to work with each other. And I think that that's what I absolutely loved about coaches. And when I worked with coaches myself, because during the midst of my depression and everything that I was going through, I had sought help through the military, but. The therapist is that everybody that was working when it just it didn't work for me and it was either that I felt like I was a no or they just weren't following through with what I was letting them know I was dealing with. And I didn't feel heard. So it's hard. My little one is walking in here with my Tom.

[00:31:54] There's no physical right, but.

[00:32:00] You know, it was just that I didn't feel like they were understanding the complexity of what I was dealing with or maybe just the aspect of what I was coming from with being a veteran.

[00:32:09] And when I started to work with a coach, what I found was that they not only had the training and the experience, but that they were coaching from a side of personal lived experience. And that's exactly what I bring to the table with my coaching, especially with working with the military, is that I'm not just, you know, some person that's coming off the streets trying to work with military. I'm a military veteran, retired after 20 years. I'm a military spouse. So from both ends, I have this experience and I understand what you've gone through. And so it takes on a whole different type of support. So in that call, we get to decide whether we're good to work with each other and if so, then we can go on our journey. Well.

[00:32:55] I still think with that kind of experience, someone that's just feeling overwhelmed and having all kinds of trouble handling family and obligation still could learn a lot from you.

[00:33:05] Oh thank you. I definitely appreciate it.

[00:33:08] And they wouldn't have to be Military.

[00:33:08] Right. And I've worked with Non-military before. You know, this is just kind of I guess you could say that that niche or that zone. But, you know, I've definitely worked with some first responders. I've worked with friends that have just kind of followed my journey and have asked, like, hey, do I have to be military because I need this?

[00:33:30] Well, more people will be coming after both of these folks come out. I'm telling you that, aren't they?

[00:33:34] Thank you. I appreciate it. And as I was saying, there's still a lot to come with. Navigate your freedom for the new year. I'm looking at starting my first set of retreats because I think that that's another aspect that is part of that burnout, is that we don't take the time to actually give ourselves rest and relaxation.

[00:33:53] How are you going to do it with the covid stuff?

[00:33:56] Well, that's what I was saying, probably come next year. He has everything is, you know, moved away and all of that good stuff. So it's stuff that I'm thinking about and starting to build out once everything is lifted. But, you know, we just we really need to learn to take care of ourselves, because sometimes when we take leave and we come back from that leave and we're just like, man, I feel like I need a vacation from that vacation that's just not there. Right? Like we can all relate to that. So, you know, I'm going into this thought with the retreats as they we actually come home feeling refreshed. We actually come home feeling like we were at peace in that we took care of ourselves.

[00:34:37] Beautiful. And what's the best way to get hold of you?

[00:34:39] So you can get a hold of me either through the website. There's a contact form on there.

[00:34:44] Navigateyourfreedom.com folks it'll be in the show notes.

[00:34:49] Yep. And then my email is Nicole@NavigateYourFreedom.com.

[00:34:54] All right. We'll have that in the shadows, too. And she won't treat you like a no either. Absolutely not.

[00:34:59] Kind of reminds me of the bank that said we won't we don't treat our customers like a no. We treat them like a number and a couple letters and an exclamation point.

[00:35:10] I mean, we get that from everywhere. People want to be seen. You know, they may not think they do, but we all want to be seen.

[00:35:16] We want we all want to be acknowledged and heard. And that's exactly what I'm here to do.

[00:35:21] Well, you are awesome. And again, from on behalf of everybody, all our listeners, we want to thank you for your service and thank you for your extended service and what you're doing for other people that that need your help.

[00:35:35] Thank you. I definitely appreciate it.

[00:35:37] All right, everybody, check the show notes. Keep an eye out for both of her books coming out and we will catch y'all on the next episode. See ya later.
