Episode 726 – My Secret Questions
[00:00:08] Welcome to Screw the Commute. The entrepreneurial podcast dedicated to getting you out of the car and into the money, with your host, lifelong entrepreneur and multimillionaire, Tom Antion.

[00:00:24] Hey everybody, it's Tom here with episode 726 of Screw the Commute podcast. Today, I'm going to talk about my secret question idea and how it can help you and how it helps me. And I'm going to tell you a little bit about what I've been going through lately and how questions help me save the day. All right, pick up a copy of our podcast app. It's through the commute.com/app. That's app. Also, pick up a copy of our automation book at screwthecommute.com/automatefree. You will thank me if you use even a portion of the questions in that book and follow me on TikTok at tiktok.com/@digitalmultimillionaire.

[00:01:02] All right. So here's my big secret reveal and also how you can use it to your advantage when you get too busy and or life or death gets in the way. So one of my beloved protection dogs had to be put to sleep this past Friday. So for three weeks before that, he couldn't walk. And and I was the only one taking care of him and and two other dogs. And I had to keep up with my obligations to mentees and to this podcast. Now. Have you been listening for a while? You know that once in a while I do an episode of Questions and Answers that I get. And what you might not know is that I saved these for the proverbial rainy day when I'm either too busy or not in the mood to do a full blown podcast on some new topic or I don't really feel like yukking it up with a guest on the podcast for some reason or the other. And as you might imagine, after being known for over 25 years as an Internet and digital marketing expert, I get tons of questions every day and I usually answer these personally, but I save up the most interesting ones to knock out an episode when I don't really feel like knocking out an episode, right? I mean, three episodes a week is a pretty darn aggressive podcast schedule.

[00:02:27] I've been doing for, what is it, 700 and what is it, 726 episodes plus youth episodes plus best of episodes. So it's not even counting when I'm being interviewed on other podcasts. So to keep up with my obligation to myself and my audience to put out three episodes a week, I have to have some kind of fallback mechanism to be able to fulfill that obligation. So question and answers is the key. In addition to these questions being a fail safe for my podcast, and this is where the value to you comes in, Saving these questions stimulate many of the products I've come up with. The latest example is my brand new How to Be a great podcast guest. And that's set screw the.com/great podcast guest. Now this came from so many people asking me how to get on more podcasts, so I just saved all their questions and I put in my personal experiences with guests, which again, we've got at least 500, I think, interviews where I've been dealing with guests. So I know, I know what's good, what's bad, what's why I wouldn't want to have a guest on ever again and why I'd want to have one back over and over again. Now you can do the same things. You could probably do it right now if you just save your emails like I do.

[00:03:52] Just go back through them and extract all the questions you get about your products and services. Pick out the ones that you get the most and save them in one place. And if they're big and important enough. Question I may do a full episode about them on this podcast and if they aren't as big of a deal, then I save them up to be included in a multiple question and answer podcast. Now, you might not even have a podcast, but you might want to make a product about these questions that you get all the time to turn all those personal responses into money. And it's really not that hard. You probably field questions every day about your topic and hopefully you answer them in hopes that you will impress and gain another sale or client. But keep in mind the fact you are getting the question means it's not answered well enough or easily found by your clients or potential clients. So you can have a product. And when I say when I say that, it doesn't necessarily mean it's a paid product. It could be just a freebie that answers all your prospect's questions and makes you look like the expert. I made a lot of money on freebie products, so my question and answer not only serves me when I'm not feeling up to things or too busy to get out an episode, but it still gives value to the listener. So keep track of the questions you get and it can serve you in more ways than one. All right. We'll catch you on the next episode. See you later.
