[00:00:24] Hey everybody, it's Tom here with episode 1038 of Screw the Commute podcast. Today we're going to talk about getting paid faster. That's what we like. Getting paid faster. This is a very specific way to get paid faster, but we'll talk about that in a minute. Hope you didn't miss episode 1037. That was the perils and pros of social logins. [00:02:33] All right. So one of the things that we really hate as an affiliate marketers, which is one portion of my business, is having to wait to get paid. I mean, I think it's the one of the number one things affiliate marketers hate. And, I mean, you got delayed payments, usually 30 to 60 days or more. And we just hate that. Even the Amazon influencer program owes me 300 bucks, which I won't see for months and months and months. Okay, now some of it's legitimate and especially with Amazon, maybe they'll have some returns.

[00:03:14] And I get that. But still waiting is something you hate. In fact, that's why if you've heard of Jvzoo, that's probably the principal reason that they took off the way they did. I mean, Clickbank had been around for years and years and years since almost the beginning, and then Jvzoo, the new kid on the block, came in and made it available to affiliates if they qualify. Of course to get immediate payments, as soon as they create a sale, they get paid. All right. We love that. All right. We love that. So it's also the problem with Google AdSense where you're showing ads for Google. But you could I mean, you could be 45 to 50 according to this is according to creator handbook. You could wait 45 to 56 days to get paid. I mean, that's if nothing goes wrong. There's a whole bunch of things they could do to hold back that money. I mean, you could do, uh, have one video that goes viral and they owe you thousands of dollars, but then you got to wait sometimes a couple months to get paid, and there aren't really returns on ads. All right. So that doesn't make a lot of sense to me. So here's one thing from my not so humble opinion that if you have a big company that owes you money and there's a big delay in it, you can be virtually certain they're floating that money, making investments with it, getting interest on it.

[00:04:44] And it's your money, but they're holding it back. And of course Google claims the delay is legitimate and blah blah blah. Yeah, like like you can trust them. Like they just came out and said, oh yeah, we censored you years ago. Too bad. Sorry. We're sorry about that. We did it. And there's no consequences to us. But we'll admit it now. Now that everybody's screwed over it. All right. So. So anyway, they're making money on your money, so we really don't like that. So this is specifically for YouTube. There's a company that jumped in the mix called Milk's m I x. It's an app. It's a free app. And it kind of reminds me of a factoring company. A factoring company is one that let's say you you manufacture widgets, and the government owes you $82,000 for these widgets that you've already delivered. And they claim that they'll pay in 90 to 120 days. Well, you need that money. If you've created 80,000 widgets and delivered them already, you're out a lot of money. So a factoring company is one that if you have a legitimate claim that you're going to get paid, they'll come in and front you the money and take a small percentage of it. So maybe instead of the 1 million that the government owes you, they'll give you you know, 998,000 or something like that up front.

[00:06:16] And and then they'll collect from the government. See, so that's kind of what a factoring company is now. This milk's app is very similar. So if you let them connect to your account and they see that you legitimately are owed money from Google, they will front you the money. And I think they take 2 or 3% out of it. And so this can be, you know, really help you with cash flow. And you can pull out funds daily if you want. I mean, there's all kinds of details to it. And you must qualify. You can't be some fly by nighter that, that never, uh, had any track record with Google. But if you do and you qualify, then they'll front you the money. And like I said, in some cases you can pull it out daily or you can wait and get big lump sums, but faster than waiting on Google. And that way you can keep your cash flow going and maybe use it to create more and better content and whatever you're going to use it for. But if the money is legitimately owed to you, then they front you the money and then take a percentage of it and they collect from Google say so. So that's how it works. So I just wanted you to know about this. Also, I mean, I don't really know the guys at Jvzoo, and I know they've had some really scumbag speakers at their events that are pieces of shit, but still the concept is great, they're doing great.

[00:07:41] And but if you qualify, you know, if you're not a fly by night and you got a little bit of a track record, you can get approved to get paid immediately. So that's a shout out for Jvzoo, even though, you know, they put some scumbag assholes on their programs. But it's, you know, it's a legitimate place to get paid faster. And so this milks app mi is the same thing if your YouTube creator or if you know any. I mean, you can be a creator across the board, but on the YouTube end of it to get paid and monetized, You can qualify to get paid right away, or even daily take out money, and then they collect and take a few percentage points. It's not much different than getting paid by credit card, where the credit card company takes a percentage out, or PayPal takes a bigger percentage out. So. So that's something I want you to know about if you're a YouTube creator. And also, like I said, a little shout out to Jvzoo, even though, like I said, they've put some real pieces of crap on their programs, but the overall company is a good thing for affiliates. Now, most of their types of products are marketing related, where Clickbank, the old standby, is all kinds of products health related.

[00:09:01] And I mean everything you can think of gardening and, you know, all kinds of stuff. So I'm not ragging on Clickbank, although they've gotten a little snooty in the years, they actually cancelled my account because I hadn't been using them for a while, and I was one of the top people for years. And so. So they're getting real snooty on who they accept nowadays. But anyway, they're legit jvzoo legit. And this milk sap appears to be a good thing if you're a YouTube creator.
