Why an Anti-College/University Page?
The selfish reason is that I want you and/or your children/grandchildren to attend my school.
The real reason is that whether you, or someone you care about attends my school, it won't change my lifestyle one bit....but it may affect their success and financial stability for many years to come. I'm disgusted by what colleges are doing to our youth.
This page has lots of evidence from very credible sources about the perils associated with traditional 4-Year Colleges and Universities.
i.e. this is NOT just me pushing my stuff on you.
Resources
This page will be packed with major news sources and credible entities and websites questioning the value of a traditional 4-year education. Plus, watching my 90-minute webinar on the topic could save you and your family hundreds of thousands of dollars and that's not any kind of exaggeration.
This may sound over-the-top to you, but with my background in consumer advocacy, I contend if college administrators weren't college administrators, they'd be in jail for fraud.
Don't believe me. Take this two-minute college ripoff quiz at https://www.IMTCVA.org/quiz and you'll see some of the exact things colleges are doing to families.
Times Have Changed
First of all, I'm a big proponent of education. I was valedictorian of my high school and got a solid B average in college. That was a long time ago. This is now.
There's a big difference between learning important subjects that will help you have a great career, and learning how to protest and cry about everything that triggers you.
Things are just NOT what they used to be. It's time to wake up!
Couple that with crazy fees, ridiculous, worthless courses, and outrageous tuition ... for no reason going up many times the cost of living. ... Students are being set up for failure rather than success.
No Degree Required
Did you realize many major companies have dropped their requirement for applicants to have college degrees? Companies like Google, Apple, IBM, and many others want people who have skills that will help the company. Those skills are rarely taught anymore in school.
Ginni Rometty, former CEO of IBM, coined the term "New Collar Workers". They're not "Blue Collar" running a jackhammer and they're not "White Collar" working on Wall Street, but they're EXACTLY what companies need to survive.
Webinar
The webinar I created for you could literally save you tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars. It's got resources, books, and cost estimates for all types of education. You owe it to yourself and your loved ones to set aside the time to carefully watch it.
Also, my school isn't the only one that can give you highly in-demand skills. There are all kinds of them out there. Mine happens to be the only school in the country, that's licensed and dedicated to one specific skill....Internet and Digital Marketing.
Here's the Webinar...More articles and Resources are below

Here's a YouTube video reflecting how young people are feeling about college along with a link to the lyrics which are definitely worth reading.

Below is the famous Dave Ramsey who says, "Get an education, that you don't pay a lot for, in something that causes you to actually go into the marketplace and win."
He also, went on to say, we've lied saying you have to have a college degree to be successful.
Here's one of our students, Ashley Monk, who after 4 months into the school got her income up to $6,000.00 / month and started her own marketing agency helping other small businesses.
Patrick Bet-David gives you the hard-core figures on how much money the colleges have and how they are 1000 percent above the rate of inflation. Plus, a massive list of big companies that don't require a college degree. The figures will shock you!
He also talks about colleges can't possibly stay current with curriculum. My school does.
Articles
Sure you can find a bunch of articles touting how important it is to attend a 4-year college or university. I urge you to look way deeper at their motivations. Many of the authors are in the system. Just about the only groups touting college are the ones funded by those colleges.
Inside Higher Ed
https://www.insidehighered.com/news/2023/04/03/majority-americans-lack-confidence-value-four-year-degree Wall Street Journal and the University of Chicago survey found that 56% of Americans don't believe a college degree is worth it.

Next is a study in favor of colleges. When you look deeper you see it was funded by Arnold Venture which appears to me to fund lots of progressive stuff. Can you believe the study in the face of all the evidence above???
Just think about this. The National Assessment of Adult Literacy in two separate studies found that "Most college graduates fall below proficiency in both verbal and qualitative literacy."
Books (All the authors have tremendous education credentials)

2000 Students who enrolled in a 4-year college were tracked over a period of years.
What the researchers found will SHOCK you.

I Hope You're Getting the Idea
The world has changed. We've had it hammered in our heads that you MUST get a college education. Unfortunately, bad elements have taken advantage of us by reducing the quality of the education and at the same time making it a cash cow for themselves.
You DO NOT have to let this happen to yourself, your family and your loved ones.
Yes, I understand some professions require degrees. With the low graduation rates in many of these professions and information like this college president had the nerve to put out.
Even law schools have been accused of falsifying employment rates and projected salaries of their graduates. Note: It appears the judges took care of their own brotherhood in the cases reported in this article
https://news.yahoo.com/fraudulent-employment-data-lawsuits-against-two-york-law-084359631.html
My favorite was the law school that bragged about 90-95 % employment of its graduates even though less than 50% of the employment had anything whatsoever to do with the legal field. They also hired grads that couldn't get jobs for part-time research work so they could pad their figures even more.
In one of the cases the judge was an alumnus of the law school being sued and he refused to recuse himself from the case. When he let the school off the hook, in my opinion and I'm paraphrasing, he pretty much said the prospective students were smart and should have known better than to make their decision to attend on employment figures.
Bottom line you better be darn sure you really want to become a doctor, lawyer, accountant, or enter any profession that requires a degree. It seems many people get disenchanted with a profession quickly and waste a lot of time and money.
Next Steps
If you made it this far, I'm assuming much of this information resonated with you. I'm hoping you are at least considering alternatives like Dave Ramsey said, "Education that doesn't cost a lot and gives you what you need to win in the marketplace."
My school falls into that category and I'd love to discuss the possibilities for you and/or your loved ones. Text or leave me a voicemail at 301-346-7403
Oh, and one more thing. We have 50% scholarships for military, law enforcement, nurses, first responders and their immediate families, https://www.IMTCVA.org/military
